Define the eligible loss precisely
A net-loss formula may subtract withdrawals, pending bets, bonuses or returned stakes and may cover only selected products. The settlement timezone determines which activity falls inside a day or week. Without those definitions, a percentage cannot be compared, and gross stakes should never be mistaken for the amount eligible for a rebate.

Check the form of the rebate
A rebate may arrive as withdrawable cash, bonus credit or a claimable reward with expiry. Minimum and maximum amounts can exclude very small losses and cap larger ones. Additional wagering can expose the customer to further loss, so the face value is not equivalent to cash when conditions remain attached.
